結婚を控えていたり、結婚を考え始めたり、
結婚生活の中で相手のことでヤキモキして気持ちに余裕がない時に
結婚当初の気持ちを思い出せるようなそんな曲になるように作りました。

この曲は「若い女子が結婚を決めた理由は何ですか？」と問があって
「結婚は共通の趣味とかじゃなくて、こういう所が嫌いだなってなる時があると
思うけどそれをどこまで許容できるかだと思うんだ。」と返しました。
この返答の続きを曲に落とし込んでみました。

I wrote this song for those who are about to get married,
those who have just started thinking about marriage,
and those who sometimes feel overwhelmed in married life —
when worries about their partner leave little room in their heart.

I wanted it to be a song that gently brings them back
to the feelings they had at the very beginning.

This song was inspired by a question I once heard:
“Why did you decide to get married when you were young?”

My answer was this:

“Marriage isn’t about having the same hobbies or always getting along perfectly.
There will be moments when you think,
‘This is something I really don’t like about them.’
What matters is how much of those moments you can accept —
how much you’re willing to embrace.”

This song is the continuation of that answer,
turned into music and words.

It’s about choosing someone not only for what you love,
but also for what you learn to accept —
and remembering that love again, even on the difficult days.
